Our Team  -  "Adventurers of the amazon rainforest" 
The ARA - Adventure River Amazonas agency was created in 2012 by Estuardo Tamayo and Emmanuelle Mory and is located in the city of Tena, in the Napo province of the Republic of Ecuador.
The person in charge of the tourist excursions is Estuardo. He is also part of the team of guides that will accompany you through all these adventures in the forest and rafting. We work with trained, experienced and reliable guides to ensure the safety of the group at all times.

Our Commitment 
At ARA, our priority is to develop sustainable tourism that guarantees the conservation of nature, culture and tradition, offering a good experience to the visitor, improving the quality of life of the local population, involving the local communities so that they can make an economic profit from tourism activity. 

Estuardo Tamayo
Better known as "Pajaro", he is an Ecuadorian native of the Kichwa nationality from the Amazon and the city of Tena. Estuardo has lived in a Waorani community for a long time in his childhood, has very good relations with the Wao and the different native communities of the Amazon, has a great knowledge about nature and has the certifications of tour guide (naturalist guide, rafting guide of the IRF-International Rafting Federation), and certificate of the WAFA (Course of First Aid in Remote Areas). This experience acquired over many years, makes him a pioneer and a real strength for the agency. He is currently a leader of the Mulchi Yaku Ancestral Community.

Emmanuelle Mory
 Of French origin, she is an engineer in tourism management and environmental preservation. She has worked for several years in France and Ecuador as an official national guide and trekking guide. Since 2006 she has been living in Ecuador, which has allowed her to get to know this country well, acquiring a wide experience in tourism. In addition, she worked as a designer of tourist programs in a travel agency in Quito, that's why she shows a lot of professionalism, treats her clients with a lot of kindness and tries to adapt the tours according to their expectations. She is always looking out for travelers. 

Our guides
Our guides and companions are trained, and are generally of Kichwa nationality, experienced and reliable, to ensure the safety of the group at all times, have international certificates such as: IRF (International Rafting Federation - http://www.internationalrafting.com ), WAFA (Wilderness Advanced First Aids - https://bit.ly/2xpkWrv).
